In the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, Eowyn is portrayed by actress Miranda Otto. Now, before I continue, let me say that I could turn this page entirely into a bashing of the movies, but I've figured out (as I'm sure many others of you have) that it all boils down to the scriptwriters. Everytime I put one of the movies on, Middle-Earth is brought to life before my eyes...but the Lord of the Rings is not. The actors and actresses portray their characters fabulously (especially Miranda and Ian Mckellen)...but the script does not do the characterts nearly enough justice, in any of the movies. Sure, you can say that you can't fit everything into the movies, but the fact is, they added stuff. I mean, who wants to see Viggo Mortensen getting kissed by a horse? Point: Miranda = good. Script writers = bad.
